Dear Parents and Friends of FLEC,
A new year brings the opportunity for a new start. We all have the chance to start over in many areas of our lives. At school a new semester brings the opportunity for students to start over in their classes. Teachers start new lessons. As Christians it is good to know that every new moment, every new day, every new year we can start over with Jesus. He is always willing to give us another chance to begin a new life with Him.
January always feels like a new beginning because a new year starts with a clean new calendar. Jesus offers each of us a clean new start with Him. It just feels good to have a fresh, new start. As we start this new educational and spiritual journey together in 2012 may the peace and comfort of the constant presence of Jesus fill our lives with hope and strength.
Enjoy your new start at school and in your walk with Jesus.
